With Vegeta ready to enter the fight, Nappa realizes that he has lost, and prepares to attack Gohan and Krillin, but Goku uses his Kaioken to finally defeat Nappa. Goku tells Gohan and Krillin about Kaioken and states that the user must be careful because it may destroy his body and that King Kai warned him that going higher than 2x Kaioken will likely kill him. Because Goku easily defeated Nappa, Vegeta kills Nappa. Goku tells Gohan and Krillin to leave so he can fight Vegeta without distraction. After moving to a new battleground and beginning the fight, Goku realizes that 2x Kaioken isn't strong enough to defeat Vegeta and decides to break his promise to King Kai and use 3x Kaioken. |
